If you read the Tannen’s ad below you would think this was a complete miracle, and I spent a couple of hours trying to understand the two pages of instructions but try as I did, I could not figure out how to do this. I have to assume it is possible, but I’d really like to see a Speed Demo of this bad boy – I wonder if someone out there has this and can do a demo for me and the rest of the folks?
The paddle is well constructed and moves easily in the hands. It sounds amazing and the effect is quite different from the more common Money Paddle, but I was unable to understand how to perform it from the instructions. Maybe you will have more luck?

Effect: There are Paddle tricks-and there are Paddle tricks. But Frank Garcia has really come up with a winner. When Frank showed this up at the Shop he baffled everyone there. The beauty of this lies in the fact that it looks completely impromptu.
Effect is that you show a black paddle both sides-space four rubber bands about a half inch apart and now BORROW a dime (or penny) and place it under one of the far end rubber bands. You now cause it to travel back and forth from one end to the other. The illusion is so perfect you will fool yourself. You can at the end of the routine give the spectator back his coin and pass the paddle out for examination.
This is complete with black plastic paddle, rubber bands, and complete instructions including the paddle move.
