Description

Another of the many Perspex bottles made by Anverdi that first appeared in his book Anverdi’s Miracles With Liquids. This is a beauty and has a number of fun and related ideas that can be performed with it based on the primary effect.. This version uses a dark opaque colored Perspex which really looks like a real wine or liquor bottle from a short distance away.

These bottles are so well machined it is hard to believe they were made well over fifty years ago.

Effect: Here are a list effects that you can perform with this bottle:

  • An ordinary bottle is shown. The magician wants to have a drink, but the bottle appears empty. He removes the top part and taps with his finger on the open end of the bottle and sees that this is the bottom. He then puts the top part on the other end and turns the bottle upside down. Now he uses it to fill a glass with liquid.
  • Fill the top part with some liquid too, and first fill a glass in a normal fashion. After the next trick, it suddenly appears empty. Place the top part on the other end and you get another drink.
  • When the insert is in the wrong place and the bottle is tilted for filling a glass, the liquid will flow out of the wrong end
  • After uncorking the bottle, the magician holds the glass near the bottom and fills the glass.
  • Like the first effect, nothing comes out of the bottle. The top part goes on the other end and the magician can fill a glass
