Description
Another of the many Perspex bottles made by Anverdi that first appeared in his book Anverdi’s Miracles With Liquids. Anverdi describes two Crazy Bottles: The Crazy Bottle and The New Crazy Bottle – the two variations on this page don’t quite adhere to either definition.
Crazy Bottle Variation 1 – I have seen this advertised before. Instead of the top coming off this top does not come off so you show the bottle empty and then simply turn it upside down and place the small glass on top whereupon it fills up right before their eyes.
Crazy Bottle Variation 2 – In this version the top does come off and can be moved to the bottom just as in the standard effect however, there is also a hidden chamber inside the top part of the bottle which could be used to allow the bottle to appear to have some liquid in or not or both. One possible use would be you show the bottle empty. Then after a flourish pour out a glass then show the bottle empty again, and get frustrated you can’t produce more so then continue with the standard effect below.
Includes:
- Crazy Bottle Variation 1.
- Crazy Bottle Variation 2.
- Special glass that can be used with either bottle.
- Special glass that is missing a part to be used in performance but is useful for filling up variation 2.
Effect: The magician takes a bottle and uncorks it. But he accidentally breaks off the whole neck. He puts the neck back and turns the bottle upside down. A small glass is placed on the bottom. Liquid then fills this glass and the magician takes the glass from the bottle and drinks until it is empty. He really does drink it all and can fill the glass for a second time in the same way.
