Description
I’m not sure if Larry West every produced a trick without at least an Elmsley Count and although this is easier than many of his effects you still have Elmsley, The Glide, out-jogging, and a buckle along the way. I think this is possible for my limited skill set, but I would really want to do the effect to perform this smoothly.
Effect: Magician removes a red deck and a blue deck from their respective cases. He places a card from the red deck face down on the table, saying that he will project this thought into spectator’s mind and will him to select the same card from the blue deck. Magi then spreads blue deck face up and spectator names any card. Performer removes card and places it face up on his red backed card.
Then performer says he is going to make a prediction of a card that spectator will choose freely from red deck. He removes a card from blue deck and places it face down on table stating that this is his prediction. Then he spreads red deck face down saying that he is doing this so that he can’t influence spectator’s choice.
Spectator pushes any card out of the red deck and this is placed face down on the blue card. Then magician picks up cards and shows that he has matched the choices made by the spectator. Then he flips red deck face up, spreads them out … all the faces have vanished!
Then he spreads the blue deck face down and the backs have changed, giving you a double climax.
Everything can be examined.
