What a great item this is. The props are well made and there are multiple methods used to maximize the impact of the effect.
Any card can be chosen (no force) and this card is not revealed until the end. The choice of number plate is free (they can chose any number from 1-6, including 1 + 6). Depending on the number chosen a slightly different procedure is employed to select the license plate but all approaches look fair. The weakest is for 1 and 6 but it is still acceptable and I believe those numbers they are going to be chosen less often anyway.
This effect is not hard to do and there is no real memory work – apart from remembering which key is in each pocket (yes there are 6 keys).
I think you will be very pleased with this unique and hard to find item.
Effect: While at the recent FISM convention in Switzerland this past Summer, Tony Spina met Theo Timmerman from Holland. He has invented many effects-and his superb craftsmanship makes them outstanding! First is his Auto Test.
This one is a Mentalist Dream come true. The props are really first quality. You show 6 cards, each with a different automobile printed on it. Next, you show 6 license plates, each to be different. The spectator shuffles the cards and removes one-the mentalist removes a key from his pocket with a license plate attached to it. But, no one is aware of the number at this time.
A license plate is selected by choosing a number from 1 to 6. Now. when the key with the license plates is turned over, it reveals the car that was freely selected as well as the license plate number which was also freely selected match!
There is no answer to this startling effect-comes in a beautiful plastic carrying case especially designed to carry the license plate numbers as well as the cards.
A truly professional prop.
