This is unauthorized copy of John Breeds’ Visible Picture Painting sold and developed by Geoff Maltby of Repro Magic c. 1979. John originated the effect c. 1967 when he was a technical training instruction teaching color TV principles; the effect was a visual aid for his students. Richard Stupple provides the routine for the Repro Magic version. John Breeds details this trick in his book: How To Create Kids’ Magic and Triple Your Income!
Ickle Pickle did create many inserts for their version and I’ve included 7 inserts:

- The Caterpillar, The Butterfly
- The Haunted House
- Rabbits from The Hat
- Santa In The Chimney
- Two Happy Birthday Versions
And to be fair to Ickle Pickle even if they did not credit John Breeds they did produce some great artwork and some interesting routines particularly for younger children.

Effect: Black and white drawing changes to dazzling colors and magical transformations take place as you lift the insert out of the frame. The wooden frame looks like a real picture frame and the bright large graphics look amazing.
