Effect: Magic Magazines of the Second Millennium is a bibliography of English-language conjuring periodical literature spanning the period from 1791 to 2000. Picking up where Jim Alfredson and George Daily left off in their 1986 bibliography, this volume lists data for over 2000 Titles of magic magazines known to exist. Some of those new Titles are from the “desktop publishing age” of the last 15 years but over 1/3 are from the earlier part of the 20th century, augmenting the data from the earlier work. While this new work continues the Alfredson-Daily bibliography, none of their data is repeated within the 450 pages of this tome; everything contained herein is new.
