Description
The first version of this effect was created by Tony Lackner c. 1981 (see last photo thanks to Georg Walter). This is the second version by Thomas Pohle. Both versions were released by Eckhard Boettcher.
Beautifully made in wood with an almost self working mechanism with nothing added or taken away. The hearts and spades blocks keep changing position. This is an improvement of the original version of this c. 1981 with better technology and no magnets, making it almost self working.
If you follow my video with the blocks in hand you should find it works perfectly every time.
Effect: The performer introduces four small, nicely decorated dice that show the suit of a card on one side, all the other sides are white. Two wooden tubes that fit over a stack of two dice at a time are also introduced. Of course dice and tubes can be shown on both sides.
The two dice decorated with the black symbols are stacked and covered with one of the tubes, then the same happens to the two red ones. Immediately the performer lifts both tubes and each stack has now a red suit and a black suit, so two dice must have migrated this is repeated, the performer again stacks tow black suits and covers them and then the two red suits and covers those as well when the tubes are removed it is seen that one of the dice on each side again has changed places. This time both stacks are covered up immediately and when the tubes are removed all is back in order with spades and clubs on one side and hearts and diamonds on the other.
