Winning Bid: $209.00

Description

This is the larger version of Casino Royale distributed by Howard Schwarzman. It is good for larger close-up venues and even parlor. For formal close-up performances and high-end establishments like The Porcupine it is perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

A great close-up item that requires no reset and is easy to do – it’s a game of chance where the Magician always wins ๐Ÿ™‚ It is one of those items that resets instantly, is easy to perform and looks great. Because this is the smaller one it fits more easily in the pocket or bag too.

The effect is basically the same as Jack Ruda’s Turning Stonebut performed with better quality props.

Includes:

  • 6 plaques or fish.
  • 2 dice.
  • Leather storage case (shows quite a lot of wear but still functional, see final photos).
  • Use your own cash and whisky ๐Ÿ™‚

Effect: From a leather case you remove a die and 6 plaques (called fish) with the “CASINO ROYAL” emblem printed on them. The fish, which are numbered from 1 through 6, are spread out on the table near the performer. You announce to the spectator that they are about to take part in a little gambling game in which the spectator will win. The only thing to determine is how much, and that will depend on how lucky they are rolling the die.

Sounds fair enough.

The spectator now rolls the die, and, whatever number comes up, the fish with that number is moved to a position in front of him. For example, if a 4 comes up on top of the die, the “4” fish is moved to a position in front of the spectator.

This is repeated until the spectator has five of the six fish. If a number repeats (as will happen), no fish is moved. In any case, the last fish remaining is yours.

Now you add up the numbers on the spectator’s fish and turn each one face down as you do. The total of his fish will be 19, leaving you with the the 2 fish. You tell the spectator that you owe him $19 and he, on the other hand, owes you … (turning your fish face down so that the words “ONE MILLION” show) … one million and two dollars.
