Description
An old Thayer item c. 1942 based on the Genii Tube beautifully re-created by Mel Babcock.
Effect: A wood tube about 4 inches square and 13 inches long is shown. It is hinged on one side and is opened to show the interior empty. It is closed and a silk production is made from one end.
Like the Genii tube but made of wood. No metal and no moving parts. Use your own silks.
Notice: Each side of the tube has a load capacity of about 10 x 12″ silks tied together assuming they are good quality silks and they are packed well down (using a chopstick or similar pointing device to push them down). For a total production of 20 x 12″ silks tied together.
(Notice: Includes: Printed Instructions.)
