Description
This is a multi-phase matrix type routine with gimmicked coins, cards and although it doesn’t require sleight of hand per se it does take some like to learn the sequences. But if you put the time in you’ll have a miracle on your hands 🙂
Effect: A close up coin trick with top class apparatus. Four coins, two silver, two copper, four cards, beer mats, envelopes or what have you bring about what Ed Keener and many others described as one of the best coin tricks of all time.
This is AUTOMATIC SLEIGHT OF HAND, gentlemen – the impossible happens THROUGHOUT THE RUNNING TIME – A MAGICAL JOURNEY TO A DEFINITE DESTINATION. No fuss or stupid excuses. Working is AUTOMATIC but you must learn the sequence. If you are not prepared to do that, please leave it for those who are.
We released the English version of this trick at the 1970 British Ring Convention. The instructions supplied at that time were copied from the version sold by Derek Dingle of New York City who granted us permission to market the trick in this country. Since that time, my partner in this business has spent a great deal of time working out what we consider to be a far cleaner presentation and a great deal of what follows is due to Frank Farrow. I have added certain touches. Frank and I hope this new routine and handling will add to your magical pleasures.
Recently, Charles Reynolds, a close friend of Derek’s, was in the studio. I showed him this new version of the trick. He was greatly appreciative of what he saw so, Frank and I sank a few more pounds into magic; we hope you will consider it a worthwhile investment
At the time of the first release, the name of Derek Dingle was not well known to the fraternity in this country.
Let me again place on record my thanks to Tudor Brock for it was through this kindly man that I met Ken Perks. He called in one morning to collect one or two things for Tudor, had it not been for that meeting the truly great art work on these sheets might never have been seen. Ken Perks has been and still is, true gold to us. I consider his drawings to be without equal in the magical business. For the records, this, revised instruction and routine was written and published mid-August. 1971, at 145, Wardour Street, here in London. W 1. England.
