Here is another add on to Murphy’s Spirit Bell effect. It is nicely made and if you first show the pendulum effect without the base and then use it on the base I can be one of the stronger moments with the Spirit Bell.
Many effects that deal with the super natural only really work if you build layers, you have to start to get the audience to believe in the possibility that something real is happening, then you take it to the next level and they have a better chance of being convinced. Of course this takes actual acting skills and routining which are much harder to come by than a prop that moves with the touch of button. But you have to start somewhere 🙂
