Description
This is a bold and colorful limited edition that Thomas created in 2023. It is a visually interesting and the magic looks great. Thomas only made one run of these because it was too time consuming to make.
There is an option to change which painting is transformed at the end, but to be honest most people would not bother and I’m not sure how necessary it is. I added some cards with Van Gogh pictures to add a little extra kick. It is a clean effect and simple to perform and follow.
The vanish of the painting and the rearrangement of the cubes are particularly clean and visual and I’m sure you will love them. Great Job Thomas 🙂
Includes:
- Van Gogh frame and box as supplied.
- Four Picture cards specially treated with 3 extra cards to allow the force to be easy and clean (bonus).
- Silk Hanky (bonus).
Effect: Four beautiful miniature Van Gogh paintings are shown and stored in a special cabinet to keep them safe. Four cubes with partial sections of the paintings printed on the sides are also shown that fit into an open frame. The spectator is given a completely free choice as to which cube is slotted in which section of the frame – this is free and above board. Once all four cubes are placed in the frame they are covered with a hanky.
Four cards with the specific Van Gogh pictures are shown and mixed face down. The spectator is free to choose any one, and their chosen card is turned over for all to see. Let’s assume it is the Sunflower. A magical wave is made and the four paintings are removed but now there is one frame where the painting has vanished – it is the Sunflower!
The hanky is removed and the four randomly placed cubes have now transformed themselves into a perfect reproduction of the Sunflower!
