So I remember owning the original version of this wonderful mini illusion growing up in England – I purchased it in 1979 at the IBM Convention in Brighton from Alan Alan. I loved it! The Zanadu version I purchased years later used the same principle (Black Art) and although the illusion looked ok, it was never really an amazing illusion because you couldn’t see clearly into the box. The stage size sword box such as Murder Inc. and probably hundreds of others over the years, used a different method and always looked more convincing. So Thomas has created this deluxe close-up version that uses the same method as the big stage version and it looks amazing!
(Notice the video is of the Alan Alan version and not the new Thomas Pohle which looks more convincing.)
